Giving Back

Beyond helping clients achieve their real estate goals, I’m deeply committed to giving back to the vibrant Hudson Valley community we call home. This page highlights the ongoing involvement with local organizations and charities.

Tommy’s Scholarship

established 2021

Tommy Argenti and Tommy Scognamiglio were both students of PRHS, classes of 2012 and 2014 respectively. Tommy and Tommy both encapsulated a gregariousness that was palpable in the classroom, on the field, and throughout our community. Though they are no longer here with us, the light they shed on those around them has continued to shine in the years after they have passed.

Tommy’s Scholarship is to be presented to the four students of Pearl River High School’s graduating class who display true leadership and promote a convivial atmosphere both inside and outside of the classroom. They are the students that carry an optimistic attitude and strive towards the betterment of themselves and the community around them.

Bike MS: Cycling for a Cause

In June 2025, our commitment to community went a step further as I joined the Bike MS fundraising event on Cape Cod. For two days, I rode alongside a dedicated community of cyclists, covering an incredible 175 miles to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis.

The journey was a testament to the power of collective effort, but the motivation to push through the miles came from a far greater purpose. The funds raised through Bike MS help the National MS Society fund critical research, provide life-changing services, and advocate for people living with this unpredictable disease.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community—my clients, friends, and family—we blew past our initial goal of $500 and raised over $2,000 for this vital cause in just two weeks. This experience reinforced my belief that when we come together, we have the power to create a positive impact far beyond our individual efforts.

Hale Aloha Fundraiser

Our dear friend Nisla Hickman, a resident and local artist in Lahaina, is one of the many that has been affected by the Maui fires. An incredibly talented artist, the gallery where her artwork was displayed was a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. In August 2023, she lost both her home and the gallery to the fire in Lahaina. She and her family are safe but have a long road ahead.

We are asking for donations of any amount to help Nisla and her family get back on their feet. All donations will go directly to Nisla and her family as they replace what they have lost.

No amount of money can replace the centuries of history, the hundreds of homes that held countless memories, or the independently-owned businesses that gave the little town of Lahaina its spirit of Aloha. If you’ve ever felt the Hawaiian sand between your toes while breathing in the ocean air and taking a picture of a Hawaiian sunset, please share the “Hale Aloha” fundraiser with your friends, family, and co-workers so that we can all do our part to help Nisla and her family rebuild their lives.
